Transport + Traffic Infratech Expo & ITS India Congress Open Today, with AI, ANPR, Intelligent Mobility and ITS Solutions in the Spotlight

New Delhi, India, 7 October 2026: The 14th edition of Transport + Traffic Infratech Expo, India's leading transport infrastructure platform, opened today at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Co-located with Road Infratech Expo and Parking Infratech Expo, the two-day exhibition from 7-8 October is being held alongside the ITS India Congress 2026. The expo brings together 300+ brands showcasing technologically advanced products and solutions, including 28+ new participants across 6,500+ sqm of gross area.

The distinguished inaugural panel includes:

Speaking at the inauguration, Mr Mahmood Ahmed, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), Government of India, expressed: “When we discuss about developing India and have Viksit Bharat 2047, mobility and connectivity are at the centre of it all. That is our goal, and we are working very diligently towards achieving it. We want the transport to be intelligent, connected, and traffic should be smart, seamless. I wish the expo great success, as it has been in all the preceding years.”

Mr Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd, said: "The sector is clearly moving towards more intelligent, connected infrastructure, and that shows in what exhibitors have brought this year. This edition places stronger emphasis on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), AI-powered traffic solutions, connected vehicles and Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) tolling, with an added focus on Public Transportation. Exhibitors are showcasing AI-powered video analytics, ANPR, edge intelligence and real-time incident detection, alongside solutions in surveillance, traffic information, backup power and road safety. Energy-efficient technologies, durable materials and solar-powered systems are also on display.

The ITS India Congress 2026, themed "Connected, Integrated and Intelligent Mobility for Viksit Bharat 2047," runs across both days at Hall 1, Bharat Mandapam. It covers AI-driven traffic management and digital enforcement, barrierless tolling, connected mobility, multimodal logistics under PM Gati Shakti and ITS standards, closing with a valedictory session and award ceremony on day two.

Exhibitors are showcasing technologies that reflect the sector's shift towards smarter, more automated infrastructure. Aditya Infotech is presenting the largest range of STQC-certified products, including CP Plus surveillance cameras, while Wizpro Consultech is showcasing its Recon Global Shutter Camera, which pairs AI-powered ANPR with Zebra's FXR90 RFID reader for real-time vehicle identification. Samriddhi Automations is presenting ANPR, MLFF, command centres and incident detection systems, and Netrabit Networks is displaying highway UPS solutions that keep ITS infrastructure running through power disruptions. Kataline Limited, Newtech Video Systems, Go IP Global Services and Prama India are adding road marking and safety solutions, LED video walls and variable message signs, automated barriers and RFID readers, and ANPR technology respectively.

The expo is supported by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), Digital India, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - Central Road Research Institute (CSIR-CRRI), Indian Highways Management Company Ltd (IHMCL) and Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU) and is organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India, VIS Group. ITS India Congress is organised by ITS India Forum, and co-organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India and VIS Group.
