Standout features from the show included growing aesthetic lighting solutions to fit luxury interiors across residential, hospitality and commercial spaces. A diverse range of architectural lighting solutions, the expo featured 75 first-time exhibitors and presented the innovations from international participation from China, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea and United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The knowledge sessions during the show, in association with Women in Lighting and International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), discussed critical areas. A new area touched by the sessions this year was the potential and challenges of lighting India’s iconic heritage buildings, which brought expert speakers practicing conservation of heritage architecture of India. Besides this, the sessions also led to an exchange of ideas and new solutions on technical advancements of lighting products, their applications and much more.
As India continues to strengthen its efforts towards developing robust supply chains in manufacturing, the strength and scale of the lighting manufacturers were under the spotlight on the show floor, featuring innovations.
The LED Expo New Delhi saw participation from more than 50+ Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) presenting their latest lighting products and innovations with support from the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), leading to a dedicated MSME Pavilion.
Recording a satisfactory turnout of exhibitors and visitors, this edition reinforced the platform’s credibility in driving new business opportunities. Mr Nishant Chauhan, Head – Operations, Innovative India Illuminations: “We are Indian manufacturers, we make LED aluminium profiles, it is a customised product. We are an Indian manufacturer and we source locally. We use good LEDs to increase the shelf life of the product and its sustainability. We participate in LED Expo New Delhi for B2B connect and we meet architects and lighting designers in a row. This is our 12th participation in the show and every time we have received a good response.”
Exhibitor Mr Dhairya Agarwal, Partner, Ganpati Lights shared: “We are here at the LED Expo New Delhi, and our experience has been great. I had not expected this much outreach to happen. In future, I think we will again come to LED Expo.”
Ms Lipika Sud, Director, Lipika Sud Interiors Pvt Ltd: “It’s just so wonderful to be here at the LED Expo 2025 amazing display of very innovative products, a lot to learn, a lot to use in newer projects. I think all the architects, interior designers, product specifiers – you must visit this. I think it’s amazing to see some beautiful innovations and I’m so glad that I am here at LED Expo 2025 by Messe Frankfurt. It’s amazing to bring so much together for all of us to use in our projects to look beautiful. It is the best sourcing hub for anything that you want to do with light and innovation and it’s great to see new products being introduced here”
Mr Abhishek Malik, Executive Director, Calcom Vision Limited, expressed: “We are a 50-year-old ODM Manufacturer of a complete range of indoor and outdoor product and we supply to some of the big names of the country. This is the 10th year that we have been participating in LED Expo New Delhi and we are quite happy with the response and organisation. It is getting better every year, so thank you Messe Frankfurt. We get to meet all our customers across the country, and we supply to brands that come and visit to see what is new and we get to meet and interact with them, so this is a great platform.”
Attending the knowledge session on day one Ms Bhagyashree Bhawnani, Principal Designer, Studio LLA shared: “I am here at the LED Expo New Delhi, and it is always very special. It is great to see all the exhibitors here and it is great to see how they feature intelligent lighting technology and applications, which is different and we learn from them and then we install these on our sites. It was great to attend the expo, and I look forward to attending it every year.”
Ms Leila Irfan, Founder, Aria Interior Design, expressed: “I am visiting LED Expo New Delhi it is an excellent platform for architects and interior designers to understand the new technology and what all suppliers and producer in Indian platform their offerings in solar paneling, LED, illumination and we have excellent design with light design with lighting designers, architects and interior designers, hold here and we had a nice discussion on how we bring better illumination and technology to the living spaces, institutes and any places involving the human experience around these places. Thanks a lot for having us.”
VIP Visitor, Mr Amandeep Singh, Lighting Product Designer, Lucent Worldwide: “We are the lighting designer as well as product designer and we come here to review and see the components and different manufacturing opportunities it’s a very good platform where we can see different component sourcing and very good efforts by LED Expo team.”
Featuring 6,000+ products and 2,000+ brands, the 30th edition of the show offered the visitors access to the latest products, designers, technologies and solutions evolving in lighting, LED and their applications. The show also intrigued visitors with presentations and discussions in the seminar area on solar lighting for sustainability, facade lighting as an emerging storyteller of architecture and design and human-centric lighting solutions.
The expo received support from Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL), Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Council of Architecture (COA), Federation of Hotels and Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI), International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), Luminaire Accessories Components Manufacturers Association (LACMA), Lighting Designers Association of India (LiDAI), UP Architects Association and Women in Lighting (WIL).
LED Expo New Delhi is part of Messe Frankfurt’s Light + Building Technology fair portfolio, headed by the biennial Light + Building event in Frankfurt, Germany.
