E-mobility India Forum 2022 to focalise strategies on EV adoption, safety concerns and charging infrastructure development

27 Jun 2022

Discussing roadmaps for the adoption and promotion of EVs in India, E-Mobility India Forum powered by NGV India Summit will commence its second edition from 29 – 30 September 2022 at Le Meridien, New Delhi. The two-day conference will unite industry thought leaders to discuss strategies and initiatives for improving the penetration of EVs.

Depreciation of air quality, climate change and incremental rise in global temperature are some alarming concerns which demand a transition to electrically powered and emission-free vehicles. To develop an ecosystem for EVs, the Indian government has already implemented policies and subsidies to encourage automobile brands to manufacture EVs locally. The mission is to have 30% of all passenger vehicles in India “electrified” by 2030.

E-Mobility India Forum powered by NGV India Summit, is gearing up for its second edition on 29 – 30 September 2022 at Le Meridien, New Delhi. Organised by Messe Frankfurt India, the conference will discuss topics concerning the adoption and promotion of e-mobility, and infrastructural requirements as well as highlight upcoming advancements in the EV sector.

“The transition to e-mobility is already ensuing and factors such as component localisation, charging infrastructure, standardised safety processes will fast-pace this shift and create new business models and opportunities across the automotive ecosystem,” shared Mr Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd. Through E-Mobility India Forum, the organiser aims to bring stakeholders together to spark crucial discussions, refine strategies and outline the roadmap for the EV sector in India.

In addition, the conference will provide a platform for e-mobility and automotive companies to present their innovative clean mobility products and solutions before the industry.

E-Mobility India Forum reinforces and complements Messe Frankfurt India’s “Clean Mobility” portfolio of events, with “NGV India Summit” already established as the apex annual leadership forum for the fast-growing natural gas vehicles industry and broader gas mobility sector.
