Spread across 13,000 sqm gross space, the show features 242 exhibitors, 1,000+ brands and over 6,000 products, with more than 70 new product launches, highlighting cutting-edge innovations shaping the future of lighting.
The exhibition showcases a wide spectrum of solutions, ranging from architectural and decorative lighting to IoT-enabled smart systems, human-centric lighting, and energy-efficient LED technologies, with international participation from China, Dubai, Italy, Korea, and Hong Kong.
The opening day set the tone with a robust knowledge sessions agenda featuring:
Product Excellence Awards with Women in Lighting recognising innovation and inclusivity
A forward-looking session by the International Association of Lighting Designers exploring the role of AI in lighting design and smart building systems
Over the next two days, the show will feature:
8th May Sustainable urban lighting and nightscape design led by the Indian Society of Landscape Architects (ISOLA), along with a heritage-focused panel by the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), while the Electric Merchant’s Association will shed light on Emerging Trends in LED
9th May: Practical frameworks and future technologies by Lighting Association of Commercial & Architectural Market India, including the ‘6 Ps’ approach and transition to intelligent lighting systems
The exhibition takes place against a strong growth backdrop with India’s LED lighting market valued at USD 6 billion in 2025, which is projected to reach USD 27.8 billion by 2034, according to IMARC Group. The growth is driven by urbanisation, smart infrastructure and sustainability-led demand.
Supported by Luminaires Accessories and Components Manufacturers Association, Women in Lighting and INTACH, the show reinforces the growing importance of lighting as a critical component of modern architecture and infrastructure.
The show is a part of the Light + Building Technology fair portfolio headed by the biennial Light + Building event in Frankfurt, Germany. The next edition will be held from 5 – 10 March 2028.
